Outboard retaining rings vary significantly in diameter across makes, models, and horsepower ranges. Rather than buying a separate wrench for every motor, the Marine Tech Tools modular system lets you buy the AMT0031 handle once and add the correct AMT0032 wrench head for each retaining ring you service. The handle fits over the prop shaft and has a 1/2" square drive for rachet, breaker bar or impact gun.  The various heads engage the ring teeth on the lower unit retaining ring. One handle works across the full AMT0032 lineup covering Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, and Honda gearcases.
