Pin Wrench Sleeve for 300 Series Trim/Tilt Pin Wrenches

Keep a patented 300 Series pin wrench from kicking out of a stubborn trim or tilt cap. Slide the AMT0170 sleeve over the cylinder and wrench, lower the outboard onto it, and the motor's weight holds the wrench flat against the cap while you work the breaker bar. The soft sleeve takes the load so the cap, pins and cylinder don't get gouged.

There's nothing fancy about it: it's a length of schedule 80, 1-1/4" PVC pipe with a slot cut in it so it slides over the tilt cylinder. You can make your own from hardware store pipe, or buy it here ready to go.
