I bought this tool a few years ago and one of the arms broke. I contacted marinetech explained what happened and sent them pics of it. They told me that the new style arms would not work on my older tool. And they would not fix it. There life time warranty is a joke! Don’t trust there warranty! Life time warranty means life time. Not gen 1 vs gen 2 or revised designs.

Been in the marine industry for over 40 years. Taken a lot of gearcases apart extremely strong never seen a better one. Way stronger than any factory tool. Just shut up and buy it. Wish I had it 40 years ago. You will not be disappointed. Stacey's Mobile Marine.

12 year marine outboard mechanic.....I had the old style MTT puller with the finer threads, it was a great tool for years I pulled many a stubborn carrier with it but it finally went.... the threads stripped out. This is a much better design from the original...... the ACME style threads with the added thread boss to increase thread contact is fantastic. Thank you for making quality tools designed to work and last!

Great quality tool. I would recommend that everyone call to order the smaller set of arms for greater versatility. They're not listed on the web site but well worth having.

This puller worked wonders. Needed to pull a housing from a lower unit that had not received care. A little pressure and a moment to rest then a little more and she started to move. This is a beast of a puller. Thank you.

Checked and double checked that this was the part recommended to pull the bearing on a Yamaha 60. It came quickly and is VERY rugged. This thing is a beast!
Well, so much of a beast that it didn't fit through the holes of the bearing housing. Ended up grinding perhaps 1/8" off to get it in, and used it to remove a bearing housing that had corroded and rusted in place, HARD. Lubed the pieces up with penetrating oil and it worked like a champ.
Would have saved an hour or so if I knew which one is ACTUALLY the right part though.

tool worked great. Took only 2 minutes to pull l/u bearing carrier out of older model yamaha 150hp.
