Hydraulic trim and tilt end caps can be a challenge to remove. Their holes for gripping are very small, and when they seize up badly enough, you reach the limitations of a wrench very quickly. At that point, your wrench starts breaking off teeth, while the cap itself doesn’t move at all. 

To solve this problem, we’ve developed our own trim and tilt impact tool as an air hammer attachment. It hooks right into those tiny end cap holes and breaks the cap loose effectively and easily.
