Why the Change?
Our legacy tools set the industry standard for years. However, to combat the issue of tool slippage on heavily corroded outboard trim caps, we developed a new, patented system. The current AMT0300 Series is specifically designed to integrate with our AMT0170 Protective Sleeve, providing a safer (zero-slip) experience.
- Patented Anti-Slip Integration: These tools are engineered to work with the AMT0170 Protective Sleeve, which uses the motor's weight to lock the tool in place.
- Enhanced Metallurgy: We have upgraded our heat-treatment process for the pins to handle over 200 foot-pounds of torque.
- Counterfeit Protection: Genuine Marine Tech tools are the only products on the market featuring this patented design and our lifetime warranty.
Consumer Alert: Beware of Non-Patented Clones
Marine Tech is aware of low quality imitations sold on platforms like Amazon and eBay using our retired part numbers (specifically AMT0004). These products are not genuine Marine Tech Tools, are not protected by our Patents, Warranty and do not feature our high quality material and heat-treatment. To ensure you are using the safest and most effective tool for your boat, please purchase the official 300 Series successor directly from MarineTech.com.
