Break loose, remove and reinstall the propeller shaft bearing carrier on Mercury and Mariner 8-25hp outboards. The AMT0080 seats into the carrier slots so it won't slip under load, and takes a 1/2" square drive ratchet or torque wrench. It replaces Mercury tool 91-93843T1 and is made from steel. Backed by the Marine Tech Tools lifetime warranty.

Well, it’s half the price ...

Well, it’s half the price of the mercury tool. But honestly this thing looks like they took a fishing rod holder, cut some slots in the end and milled out a 1/2 inch ratchet hole. Worked good for me but the torque spec is 80ft lbs - not sure how the offset ratchet mount affects that torque value. I just cranked it down tight.
