Pull a stuck bearing carrier with a slide hammer instead of a bearing carrier puller. The AMT0054-001 threads onto the prop shaft where the prop nut goes on Yamaha 115–350hp, Suzuki and Honda 75–250hp outboards, and a standard automotive slide hammer (5/8-18 UNF) threads into the other end, so each hit draws the carrier and prop shaft straight out of the gearcase. Works on standard and counter-rotating lower units. Black oxide coated steel. Backed by the Marine Tech Tools lifetime warranty.

    Easy vs tough
Have this when the lower ...

Have this when the lower bearing carrier comes out easier...but also have the Marinetech beast for the real big jobs.

    Tried 3D printing a beefed ...

Tried 3D printing a beefed up version of this tool, but even carbon fiber filament absorbed too much force from the slide hammer. Finally decided to buy this tool and had my pitted & corroded bearing housing out in 5 whacks!

Perfect tool to have around for lower unit repair

This puller worked wonders. Needed to pull a housing from a lower unit that had not received care. A little pressure and a moment to rest then a little more and she started to move. This is a beast of a puller. Thank you.

good quality tool, excellent order follow up, Fedx dropped the ball.

the tool is just what we needed and the order process went smoothly. Everything was fine except the delivery.
I specified Cedar Island Marina more than once yet Fedx had the correct address but failed to deliver it here to the marina as requested. Fedx even called me to verify the address and I repeated that this was a marina that the tool was to be delivered to, yet somehow it arrived at my HOUSE 2 days later. I realize this is not entirely Marine tech Tools fault. But I'm sure the delay could have been avoided.
