Yamaha Outboard Lifting Kit (K1005)

When you need to pull an outboard off a transom for a repower, a jack plate installation, or a powerhead removal, many modern motors no longer have built-in factory lifting eyes. A sketchy strap setup puts a very expensive engine at risk. The Marine Tech Tools K1005 is a two-piece modular system that mounts directly to the Yamaha flywheel and safely carries up to 1,000 lbs of working load. Bolt the adapter plate to the flywheel, thread in the lifting ring, hook up your shop crane, and lift with confidence.

Compatibility

• Yamaha 5.3L V8, 4.2L V6, F200B, F225, F250, F300, F350 and all future Yamaha outboards without built-in lifting eyes
• Note: Does NOT fit Yamaha 3.3L models. For 3.3L Yamahas, use the AMT0046 Lifting Adapter with the AMT0022 ring instead.
