- Includes 2 seal glands and guide tool
- Note: Gland wrench not included. You also need to order the AMT0304

- APPLICATIONS AND INCLUSIONS — The Seastar Steering Cylinder Seal Kit (HS5167), is a replacement kit for the SeaStar pivot or front mount cylinders, except PRO models. This perfectly fits the SeaStar HC5345, HC5347, HC5348, HC5358, HC5343, HC5340, HC5342, and HC5365 hydraulic steering cylinders. It includes 2 seal glands and a guide tool, and does not include a wrench.

Seals and o-rings fit perfectly. Great quality and fit. Was easier than I anticipated. I purchased the pin wrench, Seal Rebuild kit, and support Bracket removal tool from Marine Tech and everything went very easy. The tools worked great and took little effort to remove the parts. Everything came off as needed and the replacement parts fit perfectly. Quality tools make these jobs easier than trying to use a "make-do" tool which could cause damage to the shaft.
I watched their U-TUBE video instructions before hand and it covered everything in the correct order.

I ordered this seal kit express on a Wednesday so that we could be back on the water for the weekend. I received it on Friday and had it installed within an hour. The instructional video on the website is spot on, giving me the confidence and knowledge to perform this task myself. The seal kit was a perfect fit, no more leaks.
As described, arrived in tact in just a few days, fit just like new. First time buying from this site, it is now saved in my favorites for future marine items.

There are a lot of knock offs for this item number on all the popular websites. They say factory OEM, SeaStar brand, list a ton of part numbers so it catches all the search criteria, etc. If the label is not in English and in a clear bag stapled shut at the top, it is not OEM or SeaStar brand.

Worked right first time on. Was the right product for the job. I had ordered
a kit from a different place and it did not work.
Have been to the lake . Rode about 10 miles and had no problems, no leaks.
Thanks Sea Star and Marine Tech. Do not buy cheap imitation.!!!!!
