    Brass Gearcase Adapter Set

    Designed for use with gearcase pressure and vacuum testers and oil transfer pumps, this brass adapter set uses quick-connect fittings to eliminate hose twisting during testing. Thread the adapter into the lower unit drain or fill port, then connect the tester or pump without rotating the hose. The brass construction handles repeated shop use without corrosion or thread wear.

    Compatibility

    Fits most Chrysler, Evinrude, Force, Johnson, Mariner, Mercury, Suzuki, Tohatsu, and Yamaha lower units.

    I bought these to used with a vacume/pressure tester, they do not hold pressure or vacume. I havent tried filling a case with them, but id assume its just going to leak the entire time your filling the case.

    These should not leak. We supply them with our pressure/vacuum tester and they provide a consistent seal. If you are leaking between the quick connect fittings, contact customer service and we will replace them.

    yamaha F150 lower unit pressure test
    Non of 3 adapters fit ...

    Non of 3 adapters fit my Yamaha F150 lower unit right out of the box. I had to run a M8x1.25 dye on the tread to make the thread compatible.
    The length of the threaded part is longer than both lower unit check and drain screws, so I had to cut out some length to achieve the pressure tight seal.

    These adapters work great. Unfortunately, I purchased the gearcase pressure/vacuum testing kit with these adapters included. One of them was defective so I had to purchase this additional kit so I could use the tool I purchased. Customer service was of no help to me.

    They work but are of poor quality!

    The adapters are fine as far as function. The knurls on the adapters SUCK! Whoever is making these needs more practice knurling!
    Just poor workmanship and quality!
    Your hands are going to be oily which is the purpose of the knurls to get a grip.

    I will leave this review here even though I certainly disagree with your assessment of 2 star quality of the machining. Maybe the knurls could be a bit deeper for your liking but they are clean and the parts are nicely made. - Leon (owner)

    Perfect loose very little oil when I disconnect
