The AMT0352 is designed to safely remove and install seized 47mm tilt caps on large Yamaha and Suzuki outboards without damaging the aluminum housing. As part of our upgraded 300-Series, this tool is crafted from polished marine-grade stainless steel, handles over 200 ft-lbs of torque, and is backed by a Lifetime Warranty. To prevent tool slip—which can strip pin holes and damage cylinders—this wrench features a hex-body design that locks perfectly into the AMT0170 Protective Sleeve (Sold Separately). By resting the outboard directly onto this sleeve, the engine's weight securely traps the wrench against the cap, ensuring safe and precise removal under heavy breaker-bar pressure.
