Use the weight of the motor to rest on top of tool (wood or a small crescent wrench) with the cylinders still attached to the motor to break loose. It will pop out the holes. One broke loose with no problem. The other side I had to mount the cylinder in a vise. I then drilled and tapped 3 holes to 1/4-20, then bolted the tool to the cap and used a breaker bar. The bolts bent slightly and the cap loosened. Do not use an air hammer like the videos show. All it does is damage the caps further. For installation on the new caps it works great.
