Q&A with Andy, Marine Tech Community Member

Nine times out of ten, when you think of Marine Tech, you’ll think of our tools. This is, of course, our goal, but we also want to know and meet the people behind Marine Tech. This includes the people who create the tools, but it’s also the people who have bought from Marine Tech for years and share our passion.

Favorite place to boat and why?

The Caribbean, pretty scenery.

How did you get into boating and repair?

Grew up around boats. 

Tell us a bit more about what you're passionate about when it comes to boating? Is it fishing/exploring/diving / enjoying the water?

All of it. 

What’s your first memory of boating? 

Fishing. 

What boat do you have?

 Gradywhite, Searay, and Carolina Skiff. 

What's your dream boat?

A 53’ sport fishing boat. 

When you're not on a boat — what're you doing?

Firefighting. 

What was the first tool or part you bought from Marine Tech? 

Not sure, I have a few. I believe it was the trim removal tool set.
